Meet Shippou, By Amanda

It all started out with three words. Chinook Winds Live. The model horse show my mom was running needed donations and she came up with the brilliant idea to save a bunny, have me train it into a good hopping rabbit, and raffle off to CRHC members looking for another hopping bunny. However, this idea was kicked to the curb when showers were unhappy at the thought of a live animal being raffled off, and of course, this was after the rabbit was in our possession, and, of course, it had been named Shippou, which usually forms an attachment to the animal when you name it. I was surprised to find though, that the rest of the family were even more enthusiastic at the thought of keeping the little boy, despite my efforts to not grow attached.

Alana calls Shippou hers, so we have decided to let her start training with him a little at a time. A

Updated: October 2008:
Shippou seems to have a new trainer, Rosemarie. After much time and training by Amanda, some by Alana, it appears Shippou has become Rosemarie's favorite and so now he's hers. At the October 12, Heritage Park performance, where Rosemarie & Shippou won 1st in the time trials, yes, can you believe it? 1st against even Babbitty Rabbitty!

Shippou is taking a break from performing.

Shippou became ill & had to be put down, he is missed very much.
