Rosemarie & Peace!

After Amanda starting her search in 2007 & spending the past couple years searching for a Belgian Hare, I finally made a connection with Jeanne of Rare Hare Rabbitry in Rockton in Northern Illinois.

Peace After communicating for a while she informed me of 2 bucks she had who she thought would be perfect for us. Jeanne then posted some photos of Peace on facebook & just looking at that adorable face, I knew he was mine!

Peace has a unique story. In July 2009 a fire burned down Jeanne's rabbitry barn, losing her rabbits. But with the help of wonderful people who had rabbits from her line gave her some back so she could rebuild her rabbitry. Peace came from a litter named for something special to the rebuilding of her rabbitry. These bunnies are named Peace, Love, Faith...

Peace's journey started in Rockton where he then travelled to the 2010 ARBA Convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he was from November 7-11, 2010. On November 11th he then went to Ruth who lives in Calgary and went to the Convention & agreed to transported him to us. Peace has travelled over 1600 miles to come & be apart of our family.

Peace was born on April 7, 2010.

You can look for him at upcoming rabbit hopping events!
