Kate & Lillian!

Lillian When Sean died, I decided I wanted another angora, preferably another Giant angora. Lucky for me, there is a breeder not too far from me. I contacted her about the possibility of getting one of her rabbits.

Due to both of us having odd schedules, I had to wait about 3 weeks to meet her. I knew I wasn't going to get a rabbit at the first meeting because she wanted to meet me and go over angora care before I could have one of her rabbits. I had mentioned to her that I do rabbit hopping and she thought Lillian (the Sweets) would be a good match for me.

Once I got there, I met Joanne and Lillian. We went over stuff like grooming, feeding and general care and I got to hang out with Lillian during that time. At the end of that day, we both decided that Lillian was the one for me. I couldn't take her home that day as she needed to be spayed, so I had to wait about a week before I could pick her up and take her home.

About a week after I brought her home she had her first rabbit hopping practise. She didn't quite understand what to do at first, but by the end of the night she was getting the hang of it. She did a couple more events that month and has been getting better each time. She does need a solid barrier to keep her contained as she likes to hang out with people and be loved.
