When I started looking for another bunny I headed to our local pet store to see a litter of 8 week old Lion head bunnies. I had done a lot of research about getting another rabbit and the Canadian Rabbit Hopping Club helped answer many of the questions I had about whether another rabbit would get along with "Oreo", the lop eared bunny I already own. So when I saw the little brown female Lion head bunny, I knew right away that she was the one to be Oreo's best friend. Christie (the owner of the pet store) let me bring Oreo into the store a couple of times while she helped me watch over the two rabbits to see if they would be lifelong friends. It couldn't have turned out better, because they instantly became the best of friends. I had saved my money and was able to buy the baby bunny and take her home where she was given her name of "Biscuit". On April 9 and 10th, at only two months of age, Biscuit ran her first time trial and side by side races at "Aggie Days" in Calgary and actually did amazingly well. I am a very lucky girl to have been able to welcome Biscuit into my favourite activity of rabbit hopping.
